My name is Kirsten Ascanius, and I am a Danish Pattern Maker based in Edina, Minnesota, USA, where I live with my husband and my two youngest children.
For more than 15 years, I have worked with patternmaking and design. Here I was in charge of the patternmaking for leading high-fashion brands in Copenhagen, Denmark.
My passion for knitting began in late 2022 when I started attending the knitting club and classes at the lovely yarn store Harriet & Alice located at the popular corner of 50th and France in Edina, Minneapolis, MN; see Harriet & Alice (harrietandalice.com).
The atmosphere in the store is warm and friendly, and the staff are the sweetest and most awesome people! I still attend the knitting club and classes.
My intention on this web page is to publish the knitting patterns for the designs I have created. A craft I love so much, and my passion grows daily. Hopefully, I will be able to work 100% based on my own hand-knitting designs.
