New Launch - Jeanne Tee

Hi, all knitting friends,

Today is the launch og the Jeanne Tee. This Tee is named after the loverly Jeanne. Jeanne is the Principal Purler at Harriet and Alice (H&A) at 50th and France in Edina, MN. She is also the beautiful and warm-hearted mom to Kate, the sweet owner and Chief Executive Knitter (CEN) of H&A. Jeanne is wearing her Jeanne Tee in Lavender Lune, DK weight in the colorway Cocoon - absolutely gorgeous! Thank you so much, Jeanne. Also, a BIG thank you to Teresa Berg, a phenomenal photographer (www.teresaberg.com). Thank you so much for the 3 beautiful pictures of Jeanne.

The Jeanne Tee is a lovely and easy-to-wear tee—my new favorite everyday Tee. The timeless design allows you to play with contrasting colors for the ribbed edges or try one of the pretty hand-dyed multicolored yarns.

The pattern includes three different sleeve lengths.

The Tee is designed to be a bit boxy and cropped, so if you prefer a longer length, you can easily adjust it before starting. Measurements are included in the pattern, making it easy to adjust to your preferred length.

The samples are knitted in Lavender Lune, DK, colorway Moth to A Flame and colorway Cocoon warn by Jeanne on the front page of the pattern – all as short sleeve. In ¾ sleeve the yarn is Lavender Lune, DK, colorway Ember, and finally the long sleeve in yarn Lavender Lune, fingering, colorway Hearthside held with Urth yarns, harvest fingering, colorway Oleaster.

The Tee is worked in the round, from the bottom up, seamlessly, except for the underarms. The body and the sleeves are joined at the armholes and worked in the round at the raglan up to the front neck, where short rows shape the neckline. The neck, cuffs, and hem are worked in twisted ribbing.

The pattern can be purchased in the store or on Ravelry.com here.
